Dhiyash has been attending chess classes since September 2025. He is enthusiastic about learning chess and actively participates in every class. He enjoys playing weekly tournaments, which have increased his interest in competing and playing more matches on the online platform Lichess.
Through regular classes, he has learned many chess techniques and strategies. His coach has played a significant role in his progress, motivating him and helping him develop his skills and confidence.
Dhiyash participated in an over-the-board
(offline) tournament and won two out of four matches. This achievement greatly boosted his confidence and encouraged him to take on new opponents across the chessboard.
He is a huge fan of Magnus Carlsen and enjoys studying his games and watching videos of his play. One of Dhiyash's dreams is to receive an autograph from Magnus Carlsen someday.
He also enjoys solving chess puzzles involving hanging pieces, passed pawns, forks, and other tactical themes, which help sharpen his analytical skills.
With dedication, regular practice, and the guidance of his coach, Dhiyash is preparing himself to compete successfully and achieve strong results in major chess tournaments in the future.

Dhiyash has shown excellent commitment and enthusiasm overall in his chess journey. He participates actively in class, puts sincere effort into his games and has been steadily improving his understanding of tactics and positional play. It is wonderful to see his willingness to learn from both his victories and mistakes.
His positive attitude and willingness to learn make him a pleasure to coach.
One area for improvement is spending a little more time checking for opponent threats before making a move. At times, he spots good ideas for himself but can miss simple counterplay from the opponent. Developing this habit will help him convert more good positions into wins.
Overall, Dhiyash has made commendable
