We’re incredibly proud of our son Harishva Gopu, a 4th grader from Bentonville, USA. In a short span of time, he has shown remarkable progress, blending focus and enthusiasm with every move he makes on the chess board.While he has always shown a strong passion for extracurricular activities—especially chess and cricket—it’s his recent dedication to chess that truly stands out.
Alongside his academics, Harishva remains active and curious, but it’s during his chess practice sessions that we truly see his passion shine. The weekend training sessions have become a source of motivation for him—offering not just structured learning but also valuable peer interaction, friendly competition, and inspiration that pushes him to do better each week.
We are deeply grateful to Destiny Chess Academy and his coach, Ishaan, for nurturing his interest with such dedication and patience. The supportive and disciplined environment at the academy has played a key role in building Harishva’s confidence and sharpening his skills.
