Kaiden Tinh (Houston, TX). Our son Kaiden is in 2nd grade, and has been playing chess for roughly eight months. My husband and I never played chess much so it was a little surprising when our son picked it up and enjoyed it in 1st grade. The passion to improve his chess skills prompted me to enrol him in Destiny Chess Academy.
We are deeply extremely grateful to his coach for his effort and guidance. He ensures that every concept is broken down in a way that children not only understand but enjoy learning. The weekend training sessions on Saturdays and Sundays have been especially effective in reinforcing the concepts and giving the kids hands-on experience in applying their skills.

Kaiden is a smart and enthusiastic learner who has been doing really well in his chess journey. He listens carefully in class, asks good questions, and shows interest in understanding new strategies. His ability to focus and think calmly during games is helping him make better decisions on the board.
What stands out about Kaiden is his curiosity and creativity, he’s not afraid to explore new ideas and try different approaches while playing. It’s always great to see his steady progress week after week. With his positive attitude and consistent effort, Kaiden is growing into a strong and confident chess player.
