Our son, Prajyot, is a bright 7-year-old first grader and an enthusiastic learner with a passion for both chess and cricket. To encourage a healthy balance between mental and physical activities, we introduced chess for brain exercise and cricket as an outdoor sport. Over the past year, he has explored both with great enthusiasm and has already shown remarkable improvement and achievements.
So far, Prajyot has participated in eight in-person chess tournaments and has already won seven trophies. Impressively, he secured first place in three tournaments, including four perfect 4-out-of-4 performances. His dedication, discipline, and natural curiosity make it exciting to watch him grow and develop in both chess and cricket. We are thrilled to see him continue progressing and reaching new heights in his journey.
Prajyot has been a part of Destiny Chess Academy for the past year and has shown immense interest and steady improvement in the game. We are truly overwhelmed by how Pratyush Sir has been able to bring out the best in our son. In addition, Prajyot has also received guidance from multiple coaches, whose patience, encouragement, and dedication have made a significant impact on his chess journey.
We would like to wholeheartedly thank the entire Destiny Chess Academy team and especially Pratyush Sir for their continuous support and mentorship. Their teaching approach has sparked Prajyot’s passion for chess, and he continues to grow and improve with every lesson.
We are also extremely happy and proud that our son has been selected as the “Champion Kid” of the month. We hope this recognition motivates him to achieve many more honors and milestones in his chess journey.

Prajyot is a very talented and thoughtful young chess player who has been training with our academy for a long time. He already shows impressive calculation skills and a strong logical approach to the game, always trying to think through his moves carefully before making decisions. He is focused, curious, analytical and consistently shows a genuine interest in improving his understanding of chess. Prajyot has performed exceptionally well in tournaments, winning multiple events with a perfect 4/4 score in the unrated category, which reflects both his hard work and competitive spirit. One area we are continuing to work on is maintaining consistency throughout the game, especially in the middlegame where rushing can sometimes lead to avoidable blunders. With his dedication, sharp thinking and positive attitude towards learning, Prajyot has great potential for continued success in chess.
