Prestley started chess lessons about 4 1/2 months ago. He has learned so much and he looks forward to the lessons and practice tournaments. The instructor/coach does a great job of introducing new skills, providing practice and repetition, and making sure all students have opportunities to participate throughout the lesson. After lessons and during tournaments, Prestley is able to implement and explain strategies he learned during the class.
Coach’s Feedback
Presltey is an absolute delight to have in class. He’s very quick with the pattern recognition and has a very sharp eye for tactics in any given position. He’s also very patient during his games, and learns from his mistakes. He’s an active participant during class, asking very insightful questions. He’s shown very great progress so far and I’m confident he will continue to improve in the coming months.
