Riyaan became interested in chess after watching his sister attend classes. She started teaching him at home, and he picked it up incredibly quickly. Seeing how naturally he learned and how much he enjoys the game, we wanted to help him explore this interest further. Destiny Chess Academy, Specifically his coach Pratyush, has played a significant role in Riyaans development as a young chess player. The instructors maintain a perfect balance of structure and encouragement, helping him understand strategy while keeping the learning experience enjoyable. We’ve seen real improvement in his focus, confidence, and overall understanding of the game.

Riyaan is an enthusiastic and hardworking chess student who always shows great interest in learning and improving. One of his biggest strengths is that he keeps updating his chess knowledge by learning from additional resources beyond class. He is attentive during lessons and solves puzzles very well with good focus and understanding. We are currently working on improving his patience during games and helping him pay closer attention to his opponent’s threats before making moves. With his dedication and positive attitude, Riyaan has strong potential to continue growing as a chess player.
