Coach Feedback
- Shripad is a very active and sharp chess player who brings great energy and enthusiasm to every class. He has excellent calculation skills and is quick to understand new concepts and apply them on the board. He enjoys challenging positions and solving chess puzzles, and his ability to think ahead makes him a strong player at his current level.
- One thing I especially appreciate is how he encourages and supports his younger brother, Shrivallab. He shares what he has learned and patiently helps his brother understand chess concepts, which is wonderful to see.
- As Shripad continues to improve, he can focus on being a little more patient before making his moves. At times, he gets excited and plays quickly based on his instinct without calculating the position fully. Developing the habit of pausing, checking the opponent’s threats, and calculating every move carefully will help him avoid unnecessary mistakes. He should also avoid underestimating any position or opponent and make sure he evaluates the position before deciding on his move.
- It is wonderful to see Shripad developing not only as a chess player but also as a thoughtful and supportive sibling. I look forward to seeing him continue to challenge himself, sharpen his calculation, and grow stronger with every game he plays.
