SIDHAARTHAN achievement 1

Parent Feedback

  • Sidhaarthan, our six-year-old, has been learning chess at Destiny Chess Academy for the past three months, and it has been wonderful to watch his interest and enthusiasm for the game grow. When he first joined during the summer, he barely knew the basic chess moves. Today, he eagerly explores new strategies, solves puzzles, and enjoys putting what he has learned into practice. He particularly loves playing games and participating in tournaments, which give him opportunities to challenge himself and develop his skills. One of the most rewarding changes we have seen as parents is how Sidhaarthan now enthusiastically asks us to play chess with him—and to our surprise and delight, he has even started defeating us! These moments have become special family memories and show just how much he has learned in such a short time. More importantly, we have seen him become increasingly curious, confident, and interested in problem-solving. Watching him think through different moves, explore new concepts, and enjoy the process of learning has been a wonderful experience.
  • We truly appreciate Destiny Chess Academy for creating an engaging and encouraging environment where young children can learn and grow. The interactive classes, creative activities, and opportunities for hands-on practice make chess enjoyable while encouraging children to think independently and develop their abilities at their own pace. A very special and heartfelt thank-you to Shivapriya Ma’am for her patience, dedication, and hard work. What stands out most to us is the individual attention she gives to every child, ensuring that each student feels supported and encouraged. She goes above and beyond by helping with homework, patiently clarifying doubts, and always being approachable and ready to guide Sidhaarthan whenever he needs help. Her commitment extends beyond teaching chess; she genuinely cares about each child's progress and development. To us, she is truly a Guru in the real sense of the word—someone who inspires, guides, and nurtures young minds with kindness, patience, and dedication. We feel fortunate that Sidhaarthan has the opportunity to learn from her. We are incredibly happy and proud that Sidhaarthan has been selected as the Champion Kid of the Month for October 2026. This recognition is a special milestone for our family and a wonderful encouragement for him to continue exploring and enjoying the game. We sincerely thank Shivapriya Ma’am and the entire Destiny Chess Academy team for making his chess journey so positive and memorable. We look forward to seeing Sidhaarthan continue to grow as a chess player, strengthen his strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, and discover many more joys and achievements along the way. We are grateful to Destiny Chess Academy for nurturing his interest and to Shivapriya Ma’am for being such an inspiring mentor during these important early steps in his chess journey.

Despite being just six years old, he shows a keen interest in learning new chess concepts and enjoys exploring different strategies. He particularly loves solving puzzles, playing games, and participating in tournaments, where he gets opportunities to challenge himself and apply what he has learned. It is truly heartwarming to receive such wonderful feedback from Sidhaarthan’s parents. Seeing his growth in confidence, enthusiasm, and chess skills over the past four months has been a rewarding experience. At just six years old, his eagerness to learn new concepts, solve puzzles, play games, and participate in tournaments is wonderful to see.
  • What makes me especially happy is knowing that he has started enjoying chess beyond the classroom and is now playing with his family at home. These little moments show how learning can become a joyful part of a child’s everyday life. One of the best things about Sidhaarthan is his growing confidence and enthusiasm towards chess. He is gradually developing his ability to think independently, recognize patterns, and make thoughtful decisions on the board. His excitement to learn and practice beyond class is truly encouraging to see. Being selected as the Champion Kid is a wonderful recognition of his enthusiasm and progress. I look forward to helping him strengthen his chess skills, improve his calculation and strategic thinking, and develop greater confidence with every game. With his curiosity, eagerness to learn, and consistent practice, Sidhaarthan has great potential to grow further as a young chess player. ♟️
