Our son Sriram, is an 8 year old boy studying in second grade. He loves playing chess. He also enjoys drawing, playing soccer, basket ball and learning swimming. He is interested in learning about astronomy, science and geography. Sriram is energetic and playful personality, always full of enthusiastic and a bit of mischief. However, coach Aman Singh has managed him wonderfully. We greatly appreciate Coach Aman's patience, guidance and fun filled approach to teaching which makes learning enjoyable for Sriram. We're overjoyed that Sriram achieved the Champion Kid award in such a short time. We're thankful to Destiny Academy for providing well structured and effective classes.

Your understanding of basic principles—like piece development, king safety, and controlling the center—has become more consistent, and you’re starting to apply these ideas well in your games.
One of your key strengths is your growing awareness of tactics. You're beginning to spot forks, pins, and simple combinations more often, which shows your calculation skills are improving. I also appreciate your willingness to learn from mistakes and ask thoughtful questions after each session.
To keep advancing, continue working on identifying threats from your opponent's perspective and improving your board vision. Start focusing more on planning and understanding why certain moves work better in different positions.
