Thushant has greatly enjoyed his chess journey with Destiny Chess Academy. We have seen significant improvement in his concentration, strategic thinking, confidence, and discipline. The coaches have been highly supportive and encouraging, making learning both enjoyable and rewarding. Thushant Karthikeya Gundu is a highly dedicated and enthusiastic young chess player who has been training consistently with our academy. He demonstrates strong focus during sessions and approaches the game with a thoughtful and disciplined mindset. Thushant shows good understanding of fundamental concepts and is steadily developing his calculation skills, often taking time to analyze positions before making his moves. He is attentive, hardworking, and always eager to learn new ideas, which reflects in his gradual and consistent improvement.
He has shown commendable performance in practice games and weekend tournaments, displaying determination and a positive competitive spirit. One area we are currently working on is improving his consistency, particularly in maintaining concentration during critical phases of the game, where small inaccuracies can impact the outcome. With continued practice, patience, and his willingness to learn, Thushant has great potential to grow into a strong and confident chess player.
