Vishwa Uppugalla achievement 1

Parent Feedback

We are absolutely thrilled to share the exciting journey of our 12-year-old son, Vishwa Uppugalla, a middle school student. While Vishwa enjoys the energy of soccer, it's chess that has truly captured his heart and intellect since he began playing in the 4th grade. He is showing steady progress and commendable performances in school tournaments.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the entire Destiny Chess Academy team, and especially to Mrs. Panchami. Her exceptional support and inspiring teaching approach have been instrumental in Vishwa's passion for chess. Under her guidance, he continues to grow, learn, and refine his skills with every lesson. We are particularly delighted to announce that Vishwa has been selected as the 'Champion Kid' of the month! We sincerely hope this well-deserved award will serve as a powerful motivator, propelling him towards many more achievements and accolades throughout his promising chess journey."

Coach Feedback

Vishwa is a very talented and enthusiastic chess player. He has a strong understanding of opening ideas and traps and his calculation skills are very impressive for his age. He plays with confidence and always looks for creative opportunities on the board.

Another great quality about Vishwa is his curiosity to learn and improve. As he grows further in chess, playing more games with independent thinking and focusing on the learning process will help him gain even more confidence and practical strength. At this stage, Vishwa should focus more on middlegame strategy, puzzles and endgame practice. Even though he knows many concepts, regular puzzle practice is required to improve the game quality. Rather than learning many new openings now, strengthening the core areas of chess will benefit him more.

With consistent practice and experience, tournament experience and self-analysis will take his game to the next level and Vishwa has a bright future ahead in chess. Wishing him many more victories, learning moments and success in his chess journey. Keep shining, Vishwa!
